AES GO! Through Feed Drilling Machines

In 2021 Carrig Facades contacted us with regard to a solution for drilling fixing holes in their high-strength cement fiberboard panels which were used for cladding the sides of commercial buildings. We knew that the Go1300 was the ideal machine for precise processing of the drilling operations, but the issue was finding a boring tool that was tough enough to bore through the cement board panels. We developed a series of boring tools (various diameters from 4.5 to 9mm) with a ceramic coating for long-life high-speed drilling. The Go1300 was the ideal solution with its inbuilt easy-to-use AES WOP boring macro generating parametric machining output for a multitude of panel sizes.
