The Nova has seen many changes since 2016, and in 2023 a new model was released with a redesigned machine body. The new model comes with a rotary tool changer, fixed to the gantry. A multi-drill unit now comes as standard on the Super Nova along with a powerful electro-spindle. The electronics have moved to a control tower similar to the Extreme and Raptor machines. The linear guide rails on the X-Axis have been relocated to the sides of the machine ensuring greater rigidity and precision.
The Super Nova is the ideal machine for small to medium-sized manufacturers looking to automate their manufacturing process and reduce their production costs. Our standard installation includes the machine, our Cadmus Manufacturing Software and a selection of boring and routing tools specific to each customer's requirement. Cadmus comes with a standard product library customized for each individual customer. Once the installation is completed our customers are able to use the machine to manufacture all of the products in their library from day one, and all their tools are set up for optimum performance.

Troy Studios - Castletroy, Limerick
In 2017 our first AES machine sale was a 2100 x 2800mm Nova CNC Router to Troy Studios, located in the old Dell factory in Castletroy, Limerick. It was installed with Enroute software for manufacturing a wide range of movie sets. The 2128 machine is still going strong! along with their second machine a Nova 1325 installed in 2019. Both routers are busy every day, machining a wide range of complex components which are used by the carpenters to build the sets required for the next shoot. Both machines have a powerful HSD Spindle and Becker Rotary Vane Vacuum Pumps.
CFF Group - Mallow, Cork
CFF manufactures a large volume of Kitchen and Bedroom Fitted Furniture. Paul O Connor is the CEO and the Nova 1325 is Paul’s 2nd CNC Router with us. It has a 9kw Spindle and a multi-drill unit. Luke the CNC operator nests cabinets and doors all day long with Cadmus Manufacturing software. Cadmus Software, with little input, allows for a large throughput of products on a daily basis. Products can be simple or complex – It doesn’t matter – the input for the machine operator is the same for all products. Pat Shanahan, Mitchelstown, Cork
Pat Shanahan (Crafted by Shan) is a long-established joinery and bespoke cabinetmaking business in Mitchelstown, Co Cork. Pat had been looking at different CNC options for his business, but after a visit to Cronin Furniture’s operation, Pat decided to purchase a Nova 1325 machine and a dust extraction unit from us in 2021. The Nova was installed with our Cadmus Software and a customised product library, specific to Pat's requirements. This allowed Pat to cut his production costs and increase his output. He moved to larger premises in 2023 to cater for the increased sales volume.
Flannery Kitchens, Ballaghaderreen, Roscommon
Flannery Kitchens has been providing high-end bespoke cabinetry in Irelands North West since 2004. Alan and his team of designers and craftsmen are an efficient and well-organised group, delivering individually crafted living spaces for a wide range of customers. In 2023 Alan approached us, looking to generate efficiencies in his production. The result was an order for an AES 1632 Super Nova along with our Cadmus software solution and an AES dust extraction system. The installation was completed in November 2023, leaving Alan with a Lean Production Solution, automating the manufacturing of his complete product range.
